It was a very quiet day for the sailors at Plymouth, too quiet. The fleet rose early expecting a long sail to the planned race area outside the breakwater in the English Channel but the AP was soon broken out as the racing area resembled a mill pond on a very still day. Some wind did arrive and the fleet were launched to an assembly area inside the breakwater but despite some promising flurries the breeze never really arrived and ceratinly never settled so by shortly after 3.30 the fleet were heading back to shore. Let hope for better luck tomorrow.
